My guardian, my companion, my friend.

A scrap of my soul burns inside your wooden heart. A wisp of my breath is trapped behind your cold clay lips. A shattered sword of roses is sheathed inside your body.

For me you have fought. For me you have killed.

Where you were born, and for what purpose, no one knows.

All I know is that the answer lies somewhere beyond the End of the Line.
